The story of a young winemaker from the Markgräflerland region. Simon Sommerhalter has been running the family winery since 2024 – alongside the solid knowledge of the past, the innovative ideas of the new generation shine through.

And it’s paying off: At the Falstaff U30 Trophy 2025, he achieved 2nd place for his winery – a wonderful recognition of his approach, which focuses on low intervention in the cellar and showcases Stonebux and Chasselas as his flagship wines.

The Falstaff U30 Trophy honors young winemakers who take responsibility and shape viticulture with fresh ideas.

New Year’s Eve Celebration

The night of nights is duly celebrated here with a 7-course menu, accompanied by special wines from the large bottles. An overnight stay makes the experience complete! Aperitif, menu and accompanying drinks, water, coffee, and champagne at midnight.
